I've created this blog as a way to keep in contact with all my friends and family back home while I'm serving the Peace Corps in the Republic of South Africa. I'm leaving for Philadelphia tomorrow and I'm pretty nervous. I'd like to thank everyone for the well wishes in e-mails, over the phone, and in person. I promise I won't get eaten by a lion, catch every communicable disease at the same time, or get trampled by an elephant. I will miss you all!
